Ben was asked to produce cards for the Paralympic Winter Games held March 12-21 in Whistler, BC. He painted original cards in the Paralympic colours as a gift for each Canadian athlete. Ben, Anita and Ben's brother Jesse attended the Games.

Three of Ben's paintings were selected to be part of an Abilities Arts Festival exhibition. The art was displayed at the Queen Park's offices of The Honorable David Onley, Lieutenant Governor of Ontario. Ben attended the Opening Reception at Queen's Park.
